Charles Huang
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. The
featured Graduate Student of MIT in 1991,
he graduated with a Master of Science degree
in Electric Engineering and Computer Science
from MIT. He then became the youngest Senior
Vice President at Prudential Securities
Inc. in New York at the age of 24, and served
as an Executive Director and Head of the
Asia Securitization Group at Deutsche Bank.
Mr. Huang is a visiting professor at the
graduate school of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Ming Liu
Director.He holds a Ph.D. in economics
from Duke University. He is a tenured professor
in the School of Business Administration
at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and
a professor at University of Missouri. Before
coming to Hong Kong, Dr. Liu worked for
the Federal Reserve Bank in Washington DC.
Jining Jiang
Director. He holds a Bachelor's
degree of Engineering in Management Science
from the China University of Science and
Technology. He was a director of the first
A-share company listed on the Shenzhen Stock
Exchange. He has worked in China throughout
his professional career, and has managed
many large real estate development projects.
Tony Hui
Vice President, and Program Director
responsible for marketing and program development.
Tony earned a Bachelor in Business Administration
from the Chinese University of Hong Kong,
and attended the Bachelor of Law program
from The University of London. Tony also
obtained an EMBA degree from The University of
Iowa. Prior to joining CEG, Tony worked
for Bestfoods, a subsidiary of Unilever
and was responsible for a portfolio of world-renowned
brands. He has also worked for Rich's group
as the regional marketing manager for Asia
Pacific. He has managed the successful execution
of many international programs in Hong
Kong and China,
including University of North Carolina
MBA, Massey University's MBA program,
University of Iowa's EMBA program, Yale
executive programs, Stanford Financial
Engineering programs,
Harvard Negotiation Program
and Heriot-Watt University's online MBA
program.
Karen Wang
General Manager of CEG Taiwan Office. Karen
holds a Bachelor in Foreign Language and
Literature from National Taiwan University,
and a Master of English Literature from
Private Chinese Culture University. As an
experienced English instructor, Karen has
extensive experience in teaching English at
a number of tertiary institutions in Taiwan.
Prior to working for CEG, Karen was the
General Manager of Smart Biz Consulting
Company, and General Manager of Ace English
Learning Center. Karen has successfully
executed the MBL and MIS program offerings
from the Curtin University of Technology in
Taiwan.
Simon Chen
General Manager of Shanghai Office.
Simon possesses a Bachelor of Economics
from Fudan University, and an MBA from the
University of North Carolina. He previously
worked for a number of top consulting firms
where he developed executive training courses
before joining CEG. He is also responsible
for developing sales and distribution channels
throughout the major cities in China.
David Liu
General Manager of Shenzhen office.
David holds a bachelor of finance from Nankai
University, and a Master of Finance from
Flinders University of South Australia.
He previously held supervisory and managerial
positions in the banking industry, including
Citic Industrial Bank Shenzhen Branch and
Dresdner Bank Shenzhen Branch.
Julia Mao
General Manager of Beijing Office.
Julia received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering
from the University of Science and Technology
of China. She has also obtained M.S. in
Communication Field in Electrical Engineering
from Boston University, and is the Ph.D.
candidate from Boston University.
Shituan Shen
Professor Shen Shituan is the president
of BIBT. He previously held the position
of president of Beijing University of Aeronautics
and Astronautics from July 1988 to Jan 2002.
He concurrently holds the following posts:
Member of 9th and 10th National People's
Political Consultation Congress, Member
of the Education Committee of Chinese Academy
of Engineering, Chairman of Chinese Association
of Higher Engineering Education, Vice-chairman
of Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics,
Chairman of China's University Society of
Intellectual Property, Standing Member of
the Beijing Society of Science and Technology,
and Foreign Academician of the Russian Academy
of Astronautics.
Dali Tang
Executive President of Beijing
Institute of Business and Technology. Dali
holds an M.D. from No.2 Medical University
of Shanghai, and a BS from McMaster University,
Canada. Dali brings years of experience
at various state Ministries and state-owned
enterprises, and oversees CEG's government
and public relations.
Jiahua Xiong
Jiahua Xiong is the Chief Advisor
of BIBT. He held the position of president
of Capital Normal University from 1984 to
1991 and President of Beijing Union University
from 1994 to 2003. He was vice president
of College of Professional Technology of
Beijing Union University from 1991 to 1993.
He is a member of Beijing's Self-learning
Exam Committee, Chairman of Beijing's Self-learning
Exam Higher Professional Education Committee
and Member of Beijing's Evaluation Committee
of Higher Professional Colleges.
Greg Kulander
Director of International Studies
and a professor of English at BIBT. Dr.
Kulander holds a PhD in East Asia Studies,
University of Aarhus, Denmark. Dr. Kulander
conducted research in higher education in
China and taught at the University of Aarhus
for many years before he came to China.
A U.S. citizen. Dr. Kulander speaks fluent
Chinese.
